The laminate tube is a technological breakthrough in tube packaging and has become the standard packaging all over the word in place of the traditional aluminium tubes. The production process involves the aluminium foil being laminated with PE film. The PE film can be printed with colorful designs while the aluminium foil will act as a barrier against oxygen and humidity as well as prevents the loss of flavors.
The structure of the multi-layer cosmetic tube is almost similar except that a special grade of plastic is used as the barrier layer instead of aluminium foil. The plastic layer will give a softer and more pliable feel when tube is squeezed.
