Product Description
Vietnamese name is “Xoai” Scientific name is Mangifera indica Fruiting season from January to June There are 2 kinds of mango in Vietnam 1 - Green Mango: Vietnamese call “Xoai tuong” because the fruit is very big, look like the elephant or “Xoai xanh” because the skin is green. The taste is very sour. Usually, they cut the slice or string with fish sauce and sugar, eating with fried meat or dried fish. 2 - Yellow mango: There are many varieties, but there are only 2 varieties can be export: - “Xoai Cat” is the best variety, green skin when it is young, yellow skin when it ripe. The taste is very good, it weight from 200 - 500gr/piece. - “Xoai Thom”, green skin when it is young, light yellow, a little big green skin when it ripe, the flesh is dark yellow color, the seed is very thin, it weight about 100gr - 200gr/piece, good smell. The fresh mango can be kept in normal temperature (25oC - 30oC) from 4 - 5 days.
